Q. How many conferences can I have?
A. There is no limit to how many you may have but each conference is limited to a maximum of 6 hours duration.

Q. How many people can I have in one conference?
A. There is no lower limit and the maximum is 96 people at any one time.

Q. Can I obtain a recording of a conference?
A.  You control this yourself, choosing when to record or stop recording. You can then download the digital file from your online control panel. If you record a 2nd conference you will over-write your 1st one. Your file is kept available for 4 months but can be downloaded immediately. You can also choose to broadcast your recording as a podcast.

Q. How much do recordings cost?
A. They are free! There is no charge for recording or downloading your conferences as you handle this yourself.

Q. Do I have to pay for my invited callers’ telephone bills?
A. No, your callers pay for their own calls like any other telephone call.

Q. Can I hold international conferences?
A. Yes. Normal international rates apply but all normal means of calling, such as discount cards can be used. Anyone who can use a telephone can join your conference.

Q. Are the call rates increased with any extras or premiums?
A. No, normal standard telephone rates apply.

Q. Do I need to be a registered company or corporation to use this service?
A. No, CallingSources makes no distinction between corporate accounts and private individuals. We only ask that you supply a name and valid email address!

Q. How long does it take to activate my account?
A. It can be less than an hour but to be on the safe side please allow up to 48 hours or a little longer during public holidays. As you can imagine there are many new accounts created for things such as Christmas so please create your account early.

Q. Is this some kind of free trial that runs out; can I really have this for free forever?
A. There really are no further charges but we do insist the facility is used at least once every 4 months to avoid stagnant accounts reserving resources.

Q. Is my financial information safe with you?
A. We process your order through the secure website of Paypal, who are the market leader in online transactions. We do not see your details or store them in anyway. Your email is always kept confidential. Please see our Privacy Policy.

A. You do not have to delete any message until you reach 30.

Q. How long can my outgoing recorded message be?
A. Up to a massive 60 minutes (1 hour)! This also applies to incoming messages.

Q. Do I need to be a registered company or corporation to use this service?

Q. Do I have to pay for my callers’ telephone bills?

A. You receive a daily activity report by email, an instant email for each incoming call and you can also forward your calls to another number such as your cell phone.

Q. I keep receiving emails every time someone calls. Can I stop that?
A. Yes, just switch off notification emails in your control panel under “Account Information”.

Q. Why does it ask me to record my name?
A.  This is for the default message if you have no pre-recorded message or delete it.

Q. Is the control panel complicated?
A. No it is extremely simple and intuitive. You can very easily add, delete or edit any “box” and the connections between them.

Q. How many message boxes or steps can I create?
A. Virtually unlimited! The possible combinations of audio length and steps make it hard to give an exact figure but it is extremely unlikely that you will even approach the limit – or that your caller would remain on the telephone for that long.

Q. Why does it ask me to record my name?
